In 2007, the newly appointed CEO of a large healthcare system gave us a challenge. He knew that there were cracks appearing, and that the existing way of working was failing. The system needed a cultural change.
We designed a series of large scale, immersive experiences that bought the future of health to life. We called these Showcases. Attendees began to see how different ways of working could create better outcomes for patients. People flocked to the Showcases in their thousands, and the initiative became the foundation for an internationally acclaimed transformation programme.
In 2009, the newly incoming CEO commented that Showcase was the best thing that he’d ever done in any organisation, anywhere in the world.
We’ve designed Showcases in 3000m2 warehouses, shipping containers and even in virtual reality. They are extremely effective ways of creating large scale cultural transformation.
